Went to a doctor and they cant seem to find the problem but here's the story,
Start of this season my left knee has been giving me some big problems when riding. The pain is not right inside the knee cap but more or less 2 - 3 inches below the center of the knee cap. First thought was nothing major as i thought it was due to lack of riding over winter. Iv moved on about a month now and the pain is getting worse. I went to see a doctor about the issue but they cant find any signs of arthritis or any other issues that could cause the discomfort. I only experience the discomfort or pain when i am getting off my bike from extensive bending of the knees. i also feel the extreme discomfort (not pain) when i bend my knees and have a lot of my weight distributed towards my knees in order to hold my balance. So in other words, the pain only comes after the riding, otherwise its just very uncomfortable while riding. the only thing i can think of to compare it to would be if your knee was bent backwards past the point of where it should have stopped bending backwards. that's more or less the feeling i am getting.
Im going on to 25 years old so im not some old bugger, thus i shouldn't be experiencing these pains just yet in my life. I run 3 - 4 miles every day and feel i am relatively fit, im 6'-1" and weigh 170lbs. Doctors checked me all out and say im in perfect health and my knees are fine.
Please tell me this is something everyone has experienced. Im freaking out because yesterday i couldn't even ride my bike because of the uncomfortable feeling i was getting, i am finding myself avoiding transferring my weight to my knees and now i cant do any of my tricks and balance my bike as well as i used to.
Cheers!
