I Just Started Riding again and I Realized I Need To Limit My Riding Because Of Track Season. It Sucks But I Guess i Got To To What i Got To do Right? So Does Anyone Think By Limiting My Riding, it will Be More Difficult For Me To Get Back Into Riding?

im doing the 100m 200m and 4x1. and i rode on monday then when track came the next day i was so sore its not even funny ha and i dont want to get hurt and not run track ha you know what i meann?

the pain will subside, my man. i used to run XC back in high school, and i had the same issue. you are just using muscles you haven't used in THAT way for such a long time, that you are pretty much back to square one. it'll all come back eventually, but you just need to make sure you do not over work your muscles. allow a day or two of rest per week to allow your muscles to heal and build during that rest time. in less than a month you'll be fine.

ride a lil less, cruise more. i ran 800, 1600, 3200, and the 4x400 for fun. i also ran XC and i managed to pull it off.
