So maybe I'm just retarded but are the s&m tuffman and redneck xlt anodized? i just soaked them for like half an hour in oven cleaner and nothing happened.

Should i just use paint stripper or just a different kindof oven cleaner?

I thought you had to heat it first
I could be wrong though

What color is it?

Oven cleaner you just spray on it for about 5 minutes the first time, then rub with a cloth all over. Then spray it again and let sit for 2-3 minutes, then rub, and repeat until it's raw. I rawed my G-Sport rims that way & it took some time (they were hard anodized black, not sure if that's why)

You DON'T want to let the oven cleaner soak it too long though, that can cause it to pit the aluminum

Both are black.

That's what i was doing i sprayed it amd soaked it for about 10 minutes the first time then cleaned it off and did it again two more times but none of it came off so i just stopped so i didn't mess up the aluminum maybe i just got shitty oven cleaner or something.

Would it work if i sanded the parts down first alittle then soak them?

They're definitely anodized so idk, are you using this kind? It's what I used. It did take about 2 sprays & rub downs to start seeing results though
