is the mirraco velle a good bike?
If you want a bike that will just plug along until you dump it & upgrade then yes. If you want a high quality BMX that will last you a long time & is stacked with good parts no.
My friend has a Mirraco Chocolate Frame (Which was their aftermarket Street frame) When i took it all apart to re-build it (Bare in mind its fully brakeless) The head tube was drilled for gyro tabs! They had just bondo'd over it & then sprayed it. The wishbone is un-capped & it dents SUPER easy like i dropped a ratchet on it when i was taking the pegs off the wheels & it dented by just behind the Bottom Bracket!!
Honestly, if you can afford a "better" bike, get one!

Anything by one of those companies should suit you well. I will offer you one VERY Important piece of advice though, Check the bikes specifications, if it doesn't have full chromoly frame, fork & bars walk away.
