Idk something like 80 would probably be fine if you're worried. They're good tires for cement so you should be alright. Just run em hard haha you'll be fine!

Always more PSI for park riding. It makes airing and just moving through the park in general much easier.
I personally like 80-90 for park riding. But try out different PSI levels and see what works for you

Ok sweet i keep mine at 80 anyways but i was thinking less contact might slip out, just my crazy mind.

If your tires are too low you actually lose speed when you pump. At least that's how it feels for me.

Just put air in and ride. I have a slow ass leak so I don't have a definite psi. I just ride and give no fucks

Don't worry, Hawks grips like a bitch on concrete. They're really good for concrete. Not the best for like dusty slippery floors though.

what freddy said, on clean concrete they grip almost to well, but if there is a little bit of dust its like riding on ice, go with 80 on the hawks, that is the perfect PSi for them

I like it better higher PSI when riding park, the higher the more flow.

|

"Are they punkin' me Tio, are they punkin' me?"

4/10/2013 2:46 PM

i would go like 80-90 PSI and plus the hawks are supposed to be super grippy and good on cornering traction by design just keep away from dirty or dusty surfaces.
i dont ride park though so im not sure

I ride at 60 for everything... its better for going off drops and stuff cause you don't bounce as much

|

4/10/2013 9:35 PM

park 110 the only way to go

|

4/11/2013 8:23 AM

I run my tires harder for harder surfaces (street/park) and take some air out for dirt jumps/trails. Kinda same theory with off roading with trucks: When you hit dirt and sand you take a little bit air out. Same theory also applies with skateboard wheels.

I had my tires hard as a rock one day when I hit the dirt and forgot to take some out ... I felt EVERY pebble and spec of dirt and even wrecked hard coming around a berm and hit a spot that had some loose dirt on the top and I slid out.

I usually run anywhere from 45-60psi, but I mostly ride street and don't really take many hard impacts. For park riding (at least riding transition, bowls, and quarters) high psi would be for the best. It will give you more speed when you pump around, tires with low psi can be a bit slow when carving around bowls and whatnot. Generally I would say high psi is best for riding a cement park, but it all just depends on how you like to ride the park.

|

4/11/2013 10:29 AM

I generally prefer slightly higher psi when I ride cement parks

I can't stand when my tires are a little low when I get to a park and I end up going way slower than I expected

|

4/11/2013 11:20 AM

I run 100psi for every thing, way better roll and control

I run 60 psi in the street and 70 in the parks. I like lower psi, it just feels right.

i run mine at 80-85psi, dont like the odsy hawk tires, they are slippery and they get punctures easily after couple of weeks
