I'm running Tree Motos, 28.5" and 8.5" with 4 degree upsweep on a FL stem with 48mm reach slammed on a 20.75'' TT and I'm 5'8". Just learning bars and they're throw-able... I still suck at them though! I've had many people tell me that once you get barspins dialed, width is not much of a factor because it's all technique.

I would look into maybe some 9 inch rise bars. It's all preference though.

8.5-8.75 x 28.25-28.5 sounds good for you, but its personal refs.

I dunno that there is a hard and fast rule for what makes a good barspin setup. I'm 5'8" and I was having good luck with a 20.8 TT, 53mm tl and cult death rows (8.35"x29"). But then I also did well with an 8.25x28 ina 50mm fl.

I always felt like stem length made the biggest difference for me. Shorter makes for fast snappy spins that don't upset the bike too much in the air though, so keep that in mind.

You can always cut them down and i'm 189cm and ride 8.25" bars and they are fine but i have to really throw them because of how tight my headset is. I'd say go for something strong, use bar ends and go for at least 8.25" but would recommend 8.5" because of how average they are.

Anyone here remember the days of 7" bars
ps they can be wider the speed is how you throw and 1cm isn't' going to do anything when it come to bar width

I rode with a dude who rode a 21" frame with 6.5s. I don't know how he made that work.

I have a set of 7.75 Scerbos that I bought when they got discontinued because Scerbos.
