So I just purchased plastic sleeves for my shadow little one pegs however Im stuck with a problem. I don't know whether to have the washer between the dropouts or inside the peg. Right now I have it between the dropout and plastic however it keeps sliding in the dropout making the tire touch the chainstays. I have tighten them down a lot however the more i do it the washer starts going in the plastic.
help!

Washer goes inside the peg so the peg sits flush with the dropout. If you can, stand over your bike and lush the tire away from you to keep the wheel from moving. Hand tighten each side, then after each is hand tightened, take a wrench and tighten each side down a few cranks at a time. If you need help, have a friend hold the wheel OR you can use something like a crowbar to wedge between the frame and the wheel to keep it held back

plastic pegs without metal contact for the dropouts slip SOOOOO much more than say a butcher or butter peg

I ran a shadow slicker just fine straight onto.my.drop out. Only time it moved was when i slipped off a rail and rammed it into one of the vertical parts of the rail.
