Will aircraft striiper/regular paint stripper remove weld marks on frames with a trans paint job?

Nope. What will remove the weld marks is using sandpaper or steel wool/copper scrubbers. Basically anything that scrapes/scours

also if you want to like clear raw a frame would you use primer then clear coat or just clear coat?

Just clearcoat. Primer is like a paint. Youd have grey instead of raw lol.

They do make a clear primer.

Rustoleum gloss clear works great you can get it in flat too. They make it in regular or 2x coverage I personally use the 2x coverage and it works great. Make sure you keep around 10-12 inches from the part your spraying the clear coat on or it will run really easily and you will have to start over.

The weld marks MIGHT not be there, if it was heat treated. I had a frame that was that I rawed ONLY with paint stripper, and it was a dull gray, no weld burn.
