$500 for a bike is usually the price for a pretty decent stock bike, nothing is wrong with that at all. Maybe a $1400 bike, but even still they're spending money & supporting the companies. So unless they're buying a bike that expensive & going around saying they're bike is better than someone else's just to be a dick or something, you're an idiot.

Then ignore them and don't get butthurt? It doesn't matter what you're bike is as long as you're shredding it. I've known people who had bikes straight from Wal-Mart who shredded harder than some people with complete custom bikes.
