[pics] Is this (42mm wide BB) a 'Mid' or 'Spanish'?

So some dumbass listed an 'FBM custom' on a local online group i buy&sell parts on- immediately upon seeing it I knew it wasn't FBM (given it said 'Made In China' on the BB, and FBM manufactures in NY!), but the price was great so I got it as back-up.

Fast-forward a year, in that time I sold the frame and some parts to a friend, he rode it with his cranks loose for a while, and then I bought the frame back (wanted to try 20.5" again, am on 21" now) Unfortunately, his riding the cranks loose just completely destroyed the BB components, like it was a nightmare just hammering-out his spindle, and an even bigger nightmare finally punching-out the BB bearings. But I got them out, rawed the frame, was psyched to get a BB and swap my parts over to try a small frame again, when I realized *not all frames are midBB* and I'd better check it out - I pulled up the specs on the bike I *thought* this was (a 2012 Kink Transition - a kink rep and I had many emails back&forth, it was our 'most likely candidate' and we were pretty sure it was right), but I found a specs page and it tells me the BB is spanish - the problem though is that it also says the TT is 20.75" and this frame is 20.5" for sure (maybe Vital's spec page didn't list all the sizes?)

Point is that I cannot be sure this frame is a Kink Transition, and w/o knowing the frame I cannot know which BB type it is (well, I cannot distinguish between *mid* and *spanish*), so I'm really hoping someone here can help me identify what kind of BB this is!

The BB shell's inner diameter (ie the height I'd expect a BB bearing to be) looks to be exactly 42mm, I guess I could take my other frame's crank arms off and see the height of that bearing (it's definitely a mid BB on my United frame), but I'm not knowledgeable enough to rule-out spanish, I mean for all I know they're the same height but spanish bearings have a larger center or something I dunno! I suck at BB's and I've looked at guides online, they've been no use in distinguishing what I'm dealing with here so any help would be greatly appreciated!! (Oh and, unlike my mid BB on my United that flares out at either end of the BB tube, this BB tube is straight on the outside, like a uniform diameter outer-diameter the entire way!)

That ^ page has two images, each is a picture from underneath one of my frames, the first is my midBB from my united, the other is the frame shown above - the mid BB from the first picture flares out at either end, is that a differentiating factor? I can see how it may, although you could surely design it different ways and have the same cartridges in different tube profiles! The inner diameter of the BB tube in question (from the raw frame) is 42mm tall, I was going to just remove the cranks from my main bike (mid sized) to see how tall the bearing is, but even if it's 42mm tall I'm reluctant to declare my unknown frame is mid - for all I know, mid's and spanish have the same height bearings but varying widths or something! Really don't want to order the wrong BB, I've had enough issue dealing with a problematic driver and am going to have to buy more crap just to stay LHD so cannot risk buying the wrong bearings here (hell, if the new frame was a mid, I was considering just taking the BB bearings from my current frame and re-using them in this one!)

I'm ready to order a BB kit (well, just bearings really, still have that ~44mm spacer tube) but can't afford the time or money to buy the wrong one, any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I have a frame with a Spanish, and I believe the OD of the bearings is 37mm. I'll try to verify later, but I assume that's a mid.
