Standard 14mm BMX Axles do have a 1mm thread size though, instead of 1.5 which is standard for 14mm in general.

Wait is it male or female? You will need different nuts if you're going to tap it with a standard 14mm tap.

male, and thats what i was thinking, i could even make a nut with cnc for shits and giggles and tap that... or die or whatever.

You could, I've done it before and it was relatively easy. (I made them as I have a Male front axle so I made some 3/8" nuts with a 17mm head).
