i had it on my ankle
took me out of the game for a year and a half
but im fine now, the only advice i can give you is to take it easy, and keep your wrist in the sun
cause when my ankle gets cold it hurts really bad and starts to crack

oh yeah your arm looks pretty seperated there
thanks for the info man i'll look into the physio bone growth techniques
and yeah i just find it so hard to FIND surgeons.. where do you start to look? all i can do is get referals from other surgeons i've seen in the past
but in 3 years i've only spoken to the one public surgeon who says he can't fix it and he gave me the name of 3 other wrist reconstruction and plastic surgeons he said they might have an idea of what we can do
i asked my surgeon if he though it would be possible to take a scaphoid of a dead body! and try and fit it up but then there's the risk of bone disease and my body rejecting the bone..
i just wish there was a simple answer my problem isn't so common but they can reconstruct shattered SKULS.. why not other bones too?
with all the tech these days in and research?
and yet they're putting all the money into fucking making the games on the gold coast instead of hospitals!
Im gonna guess based on what you wrote you quoted the wrong person and meant to quote me? If not just ignore.
But yeah, that was my left leg actually, Tib/Fib spiral fracture...pretty damn lengthy recovery. But as far as finding other surgeons, first off all you could look in your phone book, find some names, and do a couple google or other searches and find out what people have said about them, what their credentials are, etc.
Also just ask around. If you know some people who have had orthopedic surgeries, ask them if they were happy with the results, and if so who their surgeon was. Hope this helps, if you have any other ?'s just ask.
