I want to ride my bike off of a dock and into a lake to learn new tricks. Should i do anything to prevent or fix any water damage if there is any that is possible?

I would strongly recommend not doing that...

yeah....don't do that with a bike you want to keep. pick up a yard sale/craigslist bike if you want to jump it into a lake. My suggestion for learning new tricks: Pad Up & Man Up.

Weave inner tubes into your spokes and then inflate them a bit to stop the bike floating

This. Water is bad for your bmx, it’s gonna get so unbeliavably rusty unless you towel dry it every single time you go out the water, also you’re gonna waterlog your bearings just about everywhere (sealed doesn’t mean waterproof)

Wrap/duct tape some kind of padding around your pedals so you don’t brutalize your knees when your feet come off in the water. Have fun post some videos

The problem is the water gets trapped in the frame, fork, bars, pretty much everywhere and there's no good way to dry out the inside.

A small towel will work if you kinda floss it in the tubes, except for the bars, which you could use a hair dryer and a funnel with some duct tape.

Dude, Walmart bikes are the best bikes, they even come with a kickstand so you can kickstand grind.
