So the triple eight brain saver is not certified and says for skatepark use only. Is it a good helmet or should I keep looking

I run a Triple 8 helmet but you need to get the dual certified one which is this....

Triple 8 Brainsaver Dual Certified Helmet

I shop from that online store also if you're thinking of ordering from there. It's legit.

If it says for skatepark use only and it isnt certified than here is what i think of the helmet.
It is more of a padded helmet than an armor helmet. I run a protec full cut and it isnt certified. I have hit my head so many times and my grades are still around B-C area

get a certified helmet.. yeah a uncertified helmet is better than none but if u hit ur head hard ur more likely to get a concussion or worse.Brett was wearing a helmet that wasnt certified. and he is still having issues...

wearing a certified helmet also does not guarantee safety.. but think about it this way.. if a helmet meant to withstand bike crashes fails and u get a concussion just think about how bad that would have been without a certified helmet... sooo instead of wasting money on a cheap helmet pay the extra bit and get a certified helmet...

No helmet = stupid
Hat for a helmet = even more stupid
Uncertified helmet = not stupid , not smart
Certified helmet = smart

EDIT Not bashing anyone who doesnt wear helmets. Thats just my opinion and personally I'd rather wear a brainbucket and have one on when I dont need it then not wear one when I do. Plus , people can't drive.

I like the poc receptor helmet. you have to pay a little more but I think it's worth it.
