I'm not familiar with spline drive at all, i know you put the sprocket through the splines of the spindle that's about it, i might be ordering a tree sprocket soon, so can anyone tell me how to install it or what i need?

so all i do is take off the crank arm, put spacers and then the sprocket then put the crank arm back on?

Just pretend the spider is your sprocket.

Just pretend the spider is your sprocket.

Or slide it on and be riding without any problems.

So if I had demolition cranks and a tree 48 spline sprocket, I'd need a profile tool to put it in? I don't think this is true.

Slide on no, but I lined mine up and hit it once with a rubber mallet so it got on the spindle the just hit it with my hand the rest of the way.

i have stolen teams, i dont think the profile thing would work. let me get this right, grease, possibly a rubber mallet and my 48 spline spindle, grease it up and push it right onto the spindle then put the crank arms onto the spindle also?
