Are these forks actually racing forks? Or are they like the odyssey race 25/32 forks?
Its made of that SuperTherm OX Platinum chromoly stuffs and comes in 20' and 24' sizes so i am going to say it is meant for racing
none of that would change anything?

It's also under the race section at danscomp.
Odyssey "Race" forks are considered some of the strongest available. Profile "Racing" components are widely used. Its just a name.
Theres a guy in my area sponsored by them and hes an insane rider. Been riding them for years. Smithed over a jungle gym with them, I think that says enough.

Ok then. I needed something to aim for, and the 250l frame in trans blue and the race fork in trans blue is what I'm going for. And just because I can, ima buy the chrome "standard" decals, take the 250L stock ones off and put in the chrome. Dis gon be gud. Look for an update on the bike in a year or two.

Just talk to Rick and ask him to put the chrome ones on instead. I doubt hed charge you any extra. Also- im running the Standard Strip "Race" Bars and theyre pretty damn sturdy. A good way to tell if a part is an actual race part or not is by weight. This isnt ALWAYS accurate, but id guess its valid 80% of the time. Im pretty sure the forks are a bit on the heavy side (compared to other freestyle forks) which wouldn't be a top choice for a racer that wants something lighter than most freestyle forks.

i once email supercrossbmx regarding their "SLT Race Fork", because the specs seems "street-y" and this is the reply I got
Yes, that was it’s original design was for Street/ Freestyle / and Trails.
Just happens to be a great race fork too.
Have a great day!!
The Odyssey Race forks were the same as the dirt forks with thinner dropouts.
That was the only difference for a few years.
I ran an Ody race fork WITH pegs, it lasted through me for like 4 years, sold it to a kid and it is still going strong, he does almost nothing but grinds.
