so i recently bought a stolen score (2011) and it came with these garbage rims that untrue like every other week
im trying to find a good rim thats around the same weight (15.6oz) that are stronger any ideas
Ive been looking at G-sport birdcage but they dont look to spectacular
however the primo vs look pretty dope as well as the shadow orbis
I've read alot of the "hey what rim should i get" threads but alot of the recomended rims weighed 17+ oz and an increase in weight is not the direction im looking to go and im also not looking for an indestructable rim i want something thats stronger than what i have
(i dont plan on replacing the front rim as the revolver rims hold up fine in the front)

The Alienation Skyways looks nice it also includes a cross-lacing pattern which provide the wheel a more stiffer stronger structure. The G-Sport also have that feature as well. But if that's not what your into look into some Odyssey Hazards or the Cinema 777s (I currently love 'em so far)

I've had a friend who owns a Primo Balance (sucked btw) not sure about the VS though. Shadow rims tend to have spokes that pull the rim making a weak point plus a flatspot (from my experience)

try and get a sun bigballer, or rynolite rim. those are indestructable. i have the bigballer rim and its amazing. ive also had a the shadow stun, it was nice and strong. the proper rim is nice and strong too with a tall sidewall. currently have a stolen revolver front wheel and its holding up fine.

also you guys need to remember its not the rim itself that determines how true the wheel will stay. its the spokes. once you have gotten a new wheel and have been riding it. go thru and feel how loose the spokes have become because of how they settle in. in my years of biking ive always checked the spokes tension and never had an issue with untrue wheels.

you are seriously gay for spelling worry "worru"

im looking for a good rim thats under that weight because anything above that is going to be a rim thats just so beefy it wont break

im looking for something that is well designed and uses its good design to be strong
not something that is so brutally beefed up that it cant break cause of how much material was used to make it

So you are saying that odyssey 7ka's, hazard lites, g sport rib and roll cages, primo 7k's, demo, animal etc. Are all built to beefy? I think you better step back and look at your ra tard style logic. How can a rim be to "beefy" on a Bmx bike....especially when you are talking the difference in under 1.5 ounces per wheel. Take a big shit the day you are gonna ride, and buy something strong you sissy.
