So was wondering if anyone has one they can give some info about. I like that it is lighter than all 135mm posts and it is longer at 150mm. I'm worried it may slip, slide down or the plastic may pinch at seatclamp or even break my integrated clamp from having to tighten it so much. Anyone have any one these issues?

when i had it, upon removing and re-inserting i would twist the seat post. i was unknowingly shaving thin layers of plastic off. eventually it wasn't thick enough to be clamped firmly in place. i definitely don't recommend it . you could probably avoid this issue by being aware in advance but i still wouldn't bother.

My friend had one and it cracked everytime he landed hard on his seat or dropped his bike. Every time it cracked he had to lower it a bit more until he had no hhoice but to run slammed.

only issue i ever had with it was integrated clamps dont clamp it. removeable clamps hold it just fine

Thanx man. That's what I was worried about. Guess I'll keep running my kink pivotal just slightly above the max height line. I need a solid fistfull of post to get my leg under the seat for turndowns and lookbacks. As you can see in my profile pic.

If someone is that much of a weight whore to want a plastic seat and post , probably don't have enough muscle to get enough amplitude to break it
Plastic is dumb ....especially on a seat and post combo for grown ups riding kids bikes, I could see it snapping and impaling ones ass

I've had mine for almost a year now. It's handled a lot of gnarly crashes. I dont move my seat often so the plastic being shaven off doesnt matter to me. Only complaint is about a month ago it is getting a little looser. After a couple runs and whips I'll notice my seat is tweaked to one side. Not a big deal at all to me again. I also have an integrated seat clamp btw. I'd recommend it if you don't move your seat a lot. (I run a very cushiony fat seat also)

I was more concerned with the extra lenght not how light it was. Light is sometimes ok but I do have my doubts about plastic, that's why I fucking asked dick. Also I never said anything about a plastic seat you retard.

That was one of the most butthurt responses I've ever read. Calling him a tard/dick is one thing but lol @ the fact that you brought the super relevant fact that you're higher in your photo than he is in his, on a hip that you built, and insulting Canada. 100% relevant to the situation.
Also, an aluminum post of the same length is only 1oz heavier. that's about the same weight as a couple coins in your pocket. Does it REALLY matter that much that you want a plastic post over an aluminum post? Think about it, then you might see where eskimojay is coming from because it's ONE ounce.

I always try to be nice to people and answer kids questions even when they can be very stupid sometimes. I can be funny or sarcastic but I never go as far as to call someone a weight whore or hope they impale their ass on a broken seat post. To me that is being a prick.
I start my first thread and ask a very simple and straightforward question and I get a dicky response like that. Just leaves a really bad taste in my mouth in regards to bmx and the internet.

Stolen thermalite is 150mm, most aluminum pivital posts are tiny, 135mm or old man flatlander long. I just wanted a bit more height without having to cut it or anything. So I ask for some opinions.
I know the weight isn't all that different but not having to cut it is a major plus to me.

I came out there in November of 07. Went to ABQ, RODE los altos and all the other parks. Rode downtown street and hit the Santa fe trails and Santa fe skate park. I love it there. Going to las cruces this summer for family reunion.

I live about 45 minutes North of Santa Fe. Ride the trails and parks down there quite a bit. Rode Los Altos once. Rode the 4th street dirt park (wasn't there in 07) a few times. I'm moving to Albuquerque next year, so I'll be able to ride the good parks more.

BSD & Colony posts come in 180mm. 30mms will easily fit in your seat tube & are longer than 150mm in case you WOULD want to move your seat up later.
Honestly one of those would be my pick but only because I do dick footed tailwhips & have a tendency to kick the shit out of my seat both horizontally & vertically, so my seat/seat post surprisingly get a lot of abuse so I feel like I would snap it haha.
That and 1oz isn't significant enough to me to make me buy that specific post just because it's 150mm, I'd rather buy whatever other aluminum post & cut it to 150mm.
Also, it's the internet. Getting that pissed at someone on here like you did usually ends up with people just fucking with you/making fun of you & shit, just a heads up

I had my one and only edit on canyoudigit, it's not hard to get on that site. Looking back at it my riding was terrible and filming wasn't great either haha. But now that you mention you're riding trails I wouldnt run that post. Slammed seats suck for trails, I tried. On a side note, let us know when you get on canyoudigit. I browse that site religiously every day so I'll see your vid probably before you tell us
