so im ordering a tree og sprocket, and theyre out of polished (adding more chrome to my bike)
question: can you just strip the color off the sprocket to silver? if so, aircraft stripper will work?

Off oven cleaner for anodized. Aircraft stripper only works on paint. You can also sand it and then polish, but off works best. Just don't leave it on for too long, it'll eat through the aluminum.

Tupperware of water and Drano crystals. It'll take the anno off in seconds then you have to scrub off a black residue that's left behind and you'll have perfectly rawed parts.
Use oven cleaner but it HAS to be heavy duty. And don't let it sit for too long. Oh yeah and you have to rub it around in a ziplock bag.
