subrosa used to be cool. Then they started making all sorts of stupid shit: bike locks, lights, pins, wallet, etc.
and they make an overpriced rail and put out so many fucking videos to advertise that shit.
don't get me wrong. subrosa's got a stacked team and make some good shit, but they gotta cut the bullshit.

A LOT of companies make random accessories like that, or as you put it "Stupid shit"
Albes & Terrible One both make pins/buttons, Kink makes a phone case, Animal, Odyssey, Tree, Shadow, and I'm sure more, all make wallets, are all these guys whack as well?
By your logic, you're also calling some of the most legit companies in bmx "whack" as well.
Even so, what does it matter if they make those things? Better they make them so the money goes back into the company to allow them to pay their riders, make parts, and make more "stupid shit" to annoy you with.
As for their "overpriced rail" and all the ads the make.. First off, you don't have to follow them on whatever social media you keep seeing them on. If what they post annoys you, either ignore it or unfollow them. I don't like Wiz Khalifa, would I follow him and then complain about how many Wiz Khalifa things I see in my newsfeed? No.
Second, the rail really isn't THAT overpriced when you think about what it is. A solid, portable rail that you can take apart and will hold up to the abuse of bmx. If you think you can make a better rail for cheaper while still maintaining the sturdiness, mobility, ease of use, strength, and still be able to be taken apart like that, then I'd love to see that.

and i don't follow subrosa on any social media. i just keep seeing their shit on thecomeup.
as for making a better rail, i wouldn't bother. why not just learn to find and ride actual rails. Street riding includes exploration, not lugging a heavy flat rail to all your spots.

Plenty of companies make more accessories than just Subrosa. In fact, MANY companies make coozies (Including FBM, ODI, S&M) and some even make coffee mugs like Terrible One & S&M, not to mention Kink, Fiend, Tree, Stolen & Terrible One all have sunglasses, and those are just on Danscomp so there's probably even more things they make.
If anything it's a good thing that they make locks/lights because it will appeal to people who want to buy & support bmx. I highly doubt Subrosa will lose any sleep over you thinking they need to "cut their bullshit"

Because some people don't have access to actual rails. What if someone lives in a small town without any good rails to hit or wants something smaller to learn on, then eventually take it to a bigger rail? They buy the Subrosa rail. What if someone has a cool spot like a perfect bank, but wants to make the spot even better? A Subrosa rail would make a perfect sub rail or downrail.
Seems like you're real butthurt over Subrosa not specifically catering to exactly what you think they should be making.

This. Its not just there are no hitable rails near me, there are no rails at all around me. basically, any more remote and id live on a farm. I'm like one step away from where zach lives. Sometimes a flat rail you can sesh right outside your house instead of riding an hour to get to a rail thats not as good is fucking bliss.

On the other hand, the locks are generic and can be bought much cheaper and if you have a decent welder you can makr a goo strong rail much cheaper, scaffolding works amazing by the way.

I have no problem with Subrosa. I wouldn't buy their frames really, just not my thing and they're kinda boring except for the VIllicus really. But i LOVE my subrosa rail. I do live in a small ass town that pretty much has no rails to grind. Except for the occaisional bike thing to grind on. I love this rail because if i get bored with riding my parking lot, all i gotta do is carry it right there and it becomes a sick spot. I learned a lot of cool stuff.
It's also amazing for skateparks and shit. Like sometimes the rails at skateparks are too low to really do stuff on, but this is the right height. I'm probably gonna get the extension and connector as long as they're not super pricey. The rail isn't super long but it'd be sick if it were a little longer.

the rail, NO ONE ELSE IN BMX HAS ANYTHING LIKE IT. A portable rail for people to use. Yep, that's really stupid to make, especially considering BMX is 95% grinds and a handful of tricks in and out of it right now.
