I actually started this topic on another thread, but I figured I would just start a new thread bout it, I'm on a very tight budget, I let my friend borrow my wheelset, just for him to let it get run over by a car, and I dont have any time to earn any and more money at all cause of the last month of school kicking my ass, and I have a bmx road trip coming up, so which wheelset is the best, as in the strongest, most reliable, good weight, loudest(not that big of a deal, just want to know)

1)stolen rebellion FA
2)mission react (what I owned before)
3)mission intrepid FA
4)black label rear wheelset
I was thinking the stolen rebellion to help balance out the wait since my bike is a little back heavy
Also, I am learning to do alot of grinds so it needs to be able to handle that
Thanks in advance

The amber front and ezra back is a good cheap combo, the back rim is welded seam but the front is pinned, they are both sealed hubs and double wall rims. If you have $350, the sport wheel set i gave you a link to is a great wheel set. I owned the ezra and amber, and everyone knows thats g-sport rims and hubs are super strong

I dont' think they are shutting down, they just rarely re-stock. The rear wheel was on sale for $100 when i bought it, one of the good things about it is that the pawls are reversible so you can make it right side drive or left side drive

yeah ik, the thing is almost everything went into clearance, which usually means the arent restocking
still, if they restock in time ill get it, but if they dont then which out of the ones i said would u recommend, or is the any other around the same price that is better?

If you run pegs, don't get that Stolen Rebellion wheel. I had it and the left side cone snapped off along with a piece of the internal axle. It was not cool.

http://www.danscomp.com/401049.php , I like this one, the rim has a welded seam, and the hub would be durable enough for grinds because of its male axle that is also chromoly, and it also comes in left side drive, i have never owned one or ridden one but it seems really good

I've also taken Black Label out of the option cause there's nothign good and nobody knows much about them besides the fact that they're a low end and stock brand. So, Mission React or Mission Intrepid.

I really like the rims on my wheels, the hubs are also good, my rear hub had a problem though in the driver and i emailed eastern and they replied within a day and they told me they would send me a new bushing that would fix the problem. So once i get the bushing it should be good as new =), the thing is, my hubs wouldn't be as durably for grinds, but i don't grind anyways

It never really skips, your problem might be the same as mine. Does your cranks barely spin when the cone nuts are tight?

The problem in my hub is that when the cone nuts are tight, the cranks barely spin, it takes force to move them. So i have to ride the cone nuts loose

The skipping could be the chain, but i'm not entirely sure about it. Lol, was the bushing a steel bushing? The guy told me he would send me a steel one
