You can spend $5 more and get a nice pivotal seat set up. United Beacon seat off danscomp for $22 and the cheapest alloy seat post you can find.

Buy the Amber seat/seatpost. I think it's like 35$ at most? Even cheaper I'm sure. I got it stock and it's lasted a year with a new season coming up. All it has are some loose stitching from wear , like if a cat makes bread on your shirt and its nails pull them out a bit. Considering the time on my bike with bails , crashes , etc. That's REALLY good. Especially from an "affordable" brand.
