Do stems make a huge difference for nose manuals or other tricks?
I think about getting http://www.mutinybikes.com/products-stems.html either the front load or top load from the link in max reach.
I'm running a stolen convict right now which I still have from my stock bike and nose manuals require me to use nearly all I've got where on my friends bikes they are waaay easier to get into. Is there anything else that might cause them so hard to get into?

Fork offset. There's mainly 25mm offset and 32mm which mostly everyone rides. 25mm is for people who do like all nose type tricks, but when you're starting things, it's best to start from 30mm and over. Beginning, you would flip so easily over the bars with 25mm and have no control.

I think bar position might afect a little bit.....I can't nose manual super far but the ones I've gotten into that felt good felt like I was about to flip the bars and die

i don't think it makes as much difference as you would think..i've ran 23mm offset primo forks and feel more balanced on my 32mm fit blades..i honestly think it's more personal preference

A longer stem is better for getting in to Nose manuals, as you're leant further forward.
