I'm turning 16 soon an want to buy a used reliable car because i don't wanna spend a lot of money on getting it fixed.. so what kind of cars do you guys drive and what cars would you recommend right now i want a 2008 Mitsubishi lancer or a corolla s..

Can i just say, 06 lancer...
Fat chance insuring that.... My mini is gonna cost nearly a grand. I doubt the insurance company would even insure you for that car...

My brother started with a 2002 mazda protege. Pretty reliable plus it was fun (he taught me to drive it when my parents were gone)

Yeah, my brother had the sedan. He wanted a mazda 3 witch is the new version of the hatch protege.

That's how it went for me I wanted a 3 but I got a crazy deal on the protege. After my Honda fit is paid off I will probably buy a speed 3

I'm pretty sure you can in some states.
In the UK you can drive a tractor at 16 (I know someone who is 16 and has one and it looks hilarious because he looks about 14 haha).

I have an 06 Scion xB. The last year they made it with the OG "boxy" look. It's not the coolest looking car. But I can fit 3 dudes, 3 bikes, and it's pretty damn good on gas.

BTW, you can drive 125cc bikes here at 16. 1000cc+ at 21 i think.

I can legally drive a full size vehicle at 13 in Nevada if I have permission from a farmer or rancher and must be in a "company" vehicle which means whatever the dude has laying around. I can also ride anything 50cc's or lower on roads. Cc is engine size, not power.

Lancer's are junk, Corolla S is junk. I'm a mechanic on the side (did it for years until I got a real job) and I've been under the hood of Lancers for years and my old roommate had a Corolla S. If you want a reliable jap car then go with a Honda or a Nissan. If you want fast then you won't find it with a Lancer or a Corolla. If you want looks then you won't find it with either of them either.
