25 - 9 and 44 - 16 are pretty much the same ratios so just experiment with which sizes feel better

I run a 28t myself, ain't going back to 25

you crank less for more speed basically and its a little harder to crank than a 25t but you dont notice it at all really

When you ride a 28, it's harder to pedal to get going. Once you have some speed, you can go faster than you can on a 25.
Trail guys run bigger sprockets for more speed

I had 32/16 in the past it sucked on gast trails but trails with corners following fast and uphill parts it went pretty good, i was 't so fast but sometimes faster then some friends
