what is better to do...buy a complete bike then upgrade the parts as i need to or completely customize a bike of my own...

no it isnt cause u end up having a custom prettymuch by the end
plus the money u spent on the complete and parts its moreand also a new frame

nope because you ended up building a custome very slowly so the money used for the complete is lost

But if he doesnt have 1600 bucks now, he wont have a whole bike. AND you could get a nice bike for 1500, and you could also spend way the fuck too much and get a 3000 bike. He gave a rough estimate of cost, depending on what type of riding, as well as type of parts. A bike made of mostly titanium parts would easily cost 2000 + dollars
