I have no idea. I know my friends and I used to try to set off the speed radar things they put along roads that tell you how fast you're going. I know we used to get in the 20mph area but never hit 30mph I don't think but idk I never really thought or cared
Although I did go around 25mph just cruising down a small hill before playing with a speedometer app on my phone. I think I went faster but that again was so long ago.
Fastest I ever went but won't count for the thread is at least 40mph. I skitched on a friend's car before and he told me he hit 40mph. Shit was so scary cause I didn't have brakes haha

On a road bike I cleared 44 riding the brakes the whole time. It was a S-Curve in Morgan Hill CA.
BMX bike, maybe 25ish? Not really sure.

On flat ground with 28/9 i hit 30. I raced an old beat up honda through an intersection and the guys in it flipped their shit when i was next to them going 30mph.

I bet I hit 40-45 mph before on this HUGE hill by my friends house, no joke you oughtta see the thing, riding down it is terrifying.
When actually performing tricks I tend to hit about a solid 2 mph

Nope. It's not hard. Highest gear, I made sure I was spinning oit before I hit the hill (spinning out is when you're going so fast you can't go any faster, and when you pedal, all your feet do is spin) and I hit a hill in Carson City. It was a paved road too. Pretty fun. Ruined my brake. Worth it. But it was sketchy. Iwas on a twenty niner too, so that helped.

no bullshit, i was keeping up with cars on a 30 mph road with a 28/9 ratio. i wasn't even bitch cranking, i just never stopped pedalling. the wind was sort of against me, not entirely. road was completely flat. i've gone faster on my fixie. #teamnobrakes
