So I want to possibly get some Sun Envy Rims. And I already have a wheelset I can de/re-lace but would I need new spokes because of the different spoke hole width. Like the Envys have centered spoke holes from how it looks and my rims have the spoke holes spread out wider. Or would the width not have an effect all that much.

Also would a pinned rim warp faster than a rim with a welded seam. Double wall of course. 36 spoke too.

How wide the spoke holes are, should only add like a quarter of a mm or so. But the erd (Forgot what it stands for) has to be the same on both rims (Unless youre fine with buying new spokes).
