who is starting to notice that a good wheel set (complete) is just as or more expensive as just buying a hub, rim, spokes and shit now? Not to mention the color way for completes are basic for that price, so to me it seems like the bmx companys want you to maybe spend more and make your own set up, is this just me thinking it or no?

I've actually noticed that as well, Guessing that they used to charge more because of the wheel build but now the cost of that has gone down and more people are learning how to do it themselves so they aren't charging for that as well.
Just my guess on why it has happened, either way its better for me.
