arigh well i strippd out the knurling on my s&m rv bars so i was lookin at the eastern wonder years. same specs except for their .5 inches wider and i wanted a little wider bars. i was wonderin if any of you guys have had experiences with ONLY THESE BARS not frames or forks etc. from eastern. thanks!

Why not get regular slams? The stripping wasn't the bars fault. I'll never run another bar.

trails are not skateparks, they exist solely from the work and dedication of local riders. so next time you start complaining about not having local trails to ride, you only need look at yourself.

Word. I'm on my 6th pair of s&m bars and will never buy another pair. Just got Grand Slam XLT's and cut them down, you should too haha.

i was just saying that because the nines have the most leverage on them in a crash compared to smaller bars so if the nines hold up then the subsequently smaller bars will also hold up.

You can always go ghetto and slp two pennies in between the bars and stem plates as a temporary device until the new bars come in. The pennies will easily bend around the bar and provide more grip. This is only temporary mind you if you have no other means of riding.

I know we used to do it all the time when we were kids and never had any slippage problems.

This or pop can pieces works pretty well too.

Hahahaha! Dave's tell-tale signs of aging: "pop can".

I've never owned wonder years, but my stock Eastern bars held up quite well. I'd highly recommend Eastern bars that are not stock, I see no reason why they would be any poorer quality.
