wtp trust '15 - Add gyro question!

You'll need a gyro that's compatible with integrated headset, and some gyro tabs. You'll probably need a top plate too as most gyros now only seem to be the floaty (middle) bit. There's plenty of online shops that will stock everything you need. Try source bmx, crucial bmx, custom riders. If you get confused call one of them up to ask if they've got what you need in stock

I got a reply from the place I got the bike and a lady said that I need to change forks.. the steerer has no space?!?

Can you post a picture of the stem/headtube area on your bike? Unless the shop you bought it from cut the steerer tube during assembly, you should be able to run a detangler without replacing the fork.

You don't need a new fork. There is plenty of room there to run a detangler. You just need a gyro, gyro top plate, lower gyro tabs, and upper and lower gyro cables and you're good to go.

Dialing in brakes with a detangler is a little more tricky to do than just running a straight cable. If you can't get it set up so that your brake works well don't get discouraged and take everything back off. Ask someone with some experience with detanglers for help or take it to a shop that can help. Good luck!

^^ what he said, that's enough space for it.
The tabs bolt into those holes in the headtube, then the top plate will replace your top spacer (you might need a thin spacer to give the room you need). Those parts are where the upper and lower cables thread in, and the floating part will sit in the middle with the cable ends holding it in place. Shop elsewhere as they're trying to get money out of you

You may have to modify your top gyro cable using gnarps or something similar. I ran into that problem with my setup. You look like you have about the same space I did. Alot of these new forks especially on completes weren't really designed to accommodate a gyro.

Knarps are tiny barrels that slide over a cable and clamp to it, replacing the ball end on the cable when cut off. What BoBo is referring to is the need to cut the ball ends off of your gyro cables and replace them with knarps. This is done when there is more slack in the cable than you can adjust out with the barrel adjusters on the gyro plate and the brake lever. Not to say that this can't happen, but it's rarely the case and I wouldn't concern yourself with this until that problem arises. You should be fine.

Just giving the heads up it's a possibility. And sorry, it is Knarps, not gnarps as I spelled it originally. I've mounted and dialed a shitload of gyros/gyro cables and never had to use them until I did my first one on a NS fork with a short steerer tube.

I used a standard gyro upper that came with the gyro 3 I was installing. That is probably why I had to shorten it. You can purchase uppers in shorter/different lengths.
