When I do them flat I get about 270 , any tips?

turn your head more
spin faster
maybe trying going a little faster? seems to help me sometimes
try pulling up harder getting further off the ground
can you do them out of a wedge or quarter? or are you just starting to learn them?

When your at just after 180 you need to tuck your knees but that explanation never helped me, so the way I explain it is, stand up off ya bike and with your non dominant foot try and kick yourself in da ass, that's the same motion you need to do at or just after the 180 point what this does is keeps your back end from dropping and keeps the bike tucked an level so you don't tire tap out of the rotation, this an hop higher and you'll get em

Im goofy footed, i find clean 3 hops easy! Plus they look more steezy
