Trying to learn bars but every time I throw the bar, the bike falls to the side and I cant seem to pinch the seat with my knees correctly. If you have any tips they will be greatly appreciated.

Some people say to pinch the crank arms with your feet. I found you can lean the seat against your calf to keep the bike more upright too though. But I haven't done a barspin for over 10 years so.......

Forget about pinching the seat. Just get your feet closer to the crank arms, and focus on throwing the bars in a good circular motion.

The main reason your bikes moves around when you barspin is if you don't throw the bars in a perfect circle relative to the fork axis. If you throw slightly off, the part of the force not tangent to the fork axis will be wasted and actually cause your bike to move.

Technically if you throw in a perfect circle you barely need any force to do a barspin
