So I am converting my race bike in to a street/dirt bike. This required me to get new forks, which I did . Only problem is my front wheel is practically welded unto my old fork . Spacers that were placed on the outside of the fork will not budge . A notch on the forks prevents me from pulling the wheel out. Any hints?

take the nuts off the axle. use a screw driver to try and wedge between the washer and fork drop out.

You may be able to cut the washer w/ a dremel or hacksaw as well.
