I can't pinch my seat either. Was trying barspins today since it was almost 70 degrees outside. I landed about 3 out of 30 lol. Anyway, what I do is pinch my cranks, kind of shove my back foot under the frame a little.
if you can't pinch the seat pinch the cranks with your shins, I find its easier to pinch the cranks anyway.
If your having bike problems I feel bad for you son,
I got 99 problems but brakes ain't one
dont think about your feet, just think about a bunny hop, feel the continueing to roll feeling, just KNow your feet are the Same as a bunnyhop, lay on your back with your bike above you and just throw bars over and over and over till you can do it with your eyes closed, then do the same thing with one foot on a pedal one on the ground, get comortable with how it Will feel. then just hop and commit. shin guards and determination . dont worry about pinching your seat your bike isnt going anywhere unless you flinch and kick it away basically
when I go to throw the bar during a hop barspin, I end up throwing the whole bike with it. is it because im not pinching the seat or am I throwing the bars to hard? sorry if I brought up a dead/old thread I just want help
That happens to me too.
I try a hop bar and end up by jumping off the bike, flinging it on it's side to the ground...
I think its cauz we are not throwing the bars in the right direction... Maybe we should throw em more horizontally than to the side and down... And pinch the bike...
It doesn't matter where a train goes. It's decidin' to get on that does.

If your feet are coming off what helped me was keeping my weight over the bars even when I'm leaned back. I think it just makes you feel more stable so you don't go crazy and 'throw the bike'. Also try to watch the bars the whole time, makes it feel way more natural.
