I am debating whether to replace my internals but for some reason when i tighten my axle bolts, it seems to tighten my whole hub up so it spins tight. Odyssey told me to go to my local bike shop but to pay 50$ for a simple fix is crazy. Anyone got any ideas? I asked them if they had a visual setup on how the bolts go on the wheel, in order but don't have one. I almost like have to back the cone nut out to like barely finger tight even close to loose for the wheel not to tighten up.My cassette is on right side, peg is on the left. Ill check later to see if i have the flip flop version of the hub but i did have it on the left side at one point.
Anyone have a clue what is going on? Bad cone nut? Bad bearings? The wheel spins fine now.
