Both. If you're practicing on a heavier bike like me, you'll need more "throw" than if you've ever tried it on a lighter bike. I rode a lightass pegless bike for over a month and went back to 4 pegs and my 180s are sketchy again just recently. It sucks..

Flat , i only can rotate 90º or 120º. i think that are my 45mm dropouts stopping me from carving hard , idk realy. Try them on a quarter , i can fully rotate on one!

good luck with your 180's

your drop out don't have anything to do with carving, its all about how you balance over your bike, try leaning further back and getting more pop

I'll try , though they seem to be easy in a quarter don't know why.

i guess its like aregular bunny hop if you wanna go really high its sort of muscle but if you just wanna hop curb hight its then mainly tech

Every time I try and bunny hop I never have time for the full rotation

its not about time its about how hard you pull to the side and how hard you tuck

And just a heads up, if you're goofy-footed, it'll be a bit harder for some people, like for me, it was pretty damn difficult and it still is to this very day. I can barely get a decent 3 tap without stalling for so long on the rear tire. It literally looks like a failed attempt at a 180 backwards manual fakie, lol.

It all depends where you're doing them. Any sort of ramp gives you that extra pop so mainly technique there. But flat or over something is mainly muscle. Make sure you turn that head

on flat, i think i'm going at 90º in the air lolol , like a wall moving. In a quarter it feels natural , i push my weight back and spin my front and hop a bit to get my back wheel at the top of the quarter. though i'm left foot forward and spin left.
