So I've got this casaette hub which obviously clicks when moving forwards and I'm tired of it. Is there any way to make it quieter? No, I don't want a freecoaster either.

Putting more grease? But I heard that putting too much is bad for your hub and will cause a lot of problems.

Grease should always just go on the pawls, never the ratchet ring if anything. And for hubs, oil is always optimal. Getting it all into the ring, pawl pockets, pawls, etc. the whole internal.
