So I'm lost and need some of you BMX-ERS to help me out. My son has a starter BMX. I don't know what it is. It cost me 400 on sale complete a few years ago. Sending him to BMX sleep away camp and he wants to get the Verde regent frame and a new fork. Yeah- I don't know what a fork is!!! Question 1: can someone suggest a fork ? He is concerned with weight . I'm concerned with price . Question 2: to save on cost he wants to use handle bars and other parts from old bike. Should most of the other needed parts from his old bike be compatible or do sizes fluctuate from bike frame to bike frame ? I had no idea what I was getting my self into sending him to this sleep away BMX camp. Bikes are really expensive. The full bike was 800 bux. So I'm hoping we can start with the frame and fork. Truly appreciate it if anyone could let me know if piecing the new frame with old BMX parts should be okay so we can slowly upgrade but still have him riding. Ty!!!
