Yeah dude! They're good, I first listened to them in like 2004 and since then I've liked them. They're legit.

Whether it's "underground" or known...what makes it good is that it is independent music. The Living Legends have been around forever and they are awesome. I really dig the solo stuff from The Grouch, Luckyiam, Eligh and Murs.

I also like Atmosphere, Felt, Blueprint, Eyedea, Evidence, Doom, Grieves, pretty much all Rhymesayers artists, Mac Lethal, Little Brother, Swollen Members, Cage, Die Antwoord (wtf?)...good riding music...

Good shit dropping Rhymesayers.
Blueprint makes some good beats, I got his "Sign language" album, still got to venture into some of his other stuff.

Murs is a pretty good lyricist, here's a collab I like with aesop rock. This track is actually kind of unique because Aesop's vocab is dumbed down a bit and you can actually kinda understand what he's saying, haha.

And I haven't listened to much from the Grouch, but a few tracks with Zion-I I dig.
This one probably because one of their most popular ones I think.

Wish there was more people into this type of music, everyone I know doesn't like rap at all or have fallen more into mainstream stuff, nah I'm not gonna rant about radio music though, lol.

IMO Grouch and Murs were the only or, maybe just, dopest. Eligh is so-so. LL is about as underground as they play live well. See J-5, they slap that underground shit they will be labeled with. Underground goes so far. Masta Ace is underground but ya better know. Then go check "Luckk-One & Dek." It's whatever.J-lib is famous as hell to us, but that's that community. Wu is just as underground as Elzhi to people that listen to hip-hop. Not dropping a egotistical stature with that, but music fans know what's up. Nah, you guys don't? No not yet. Whew. don't take that in a simplistic form.
I'm a huge fan of M.F. He's popular as fuck in this so-called genre. Not MTV, what?
Give me some shit to look for. I say, "Eli","Classified","Cool Kids" of course. Et cetera. Best LL shit to me was "Murs:The Beginning."
I also hate reading or replying to these posts. I could name shit up your alley as you well could do. Yet we might or, typically won't look in to it. So goes life. Thanks for the rant.

""These watching, plotting minions of the lower God scene
Shit hawks abound, in the town of bullet dodging
I'm a Rocky, run a hundred a mile before my coffee
Shitty little sick kid, the Gipper's hitting for dolo, now I'm rarified
Signal lit
verified bossy
Fuck your droid noise, void boys 'noid ploy
Oi oi, I'll rugby kick the shit out your groin boy
Oi vey, the slayers of your harmony porn life
Throat fuck your lucky day, the flight of a torn kite
Holy smokes, city blown to the bone the death server
Fit a Hertz with a burner, whip to the church of murder sermon
Just a Cassandra too drained to painfully word it further
Future of a gerbil up ass of masochist, that's my word up"
