Tree forks looked good until I saw more pictures. Bottom of the fork leg is shit and tubing is too slim. Eclat forks look no better than the previous Eclat forks... which is to say good, but not nearly as good as Odyssey forks.
I don't know why I'm being even semi-serious...

Since the new tree forks have been brought up
and are practically Odyssey forks (32mm&25mm seriously) that have room for 2x2.40 tires and that makes me think they will go great with a sounds wave v2 the only thing im curious about is it possible to use brakes with that big of tires with a slammed rear end

But IMO alot of forks are better than Odyssey. The only advantage i see to Odyssey is that theyre Postweld treated and "Black Magic" painted. Other than that, they really seem no different most other tapered and welded forks. BUT they are proven and have an amazing warranty, so i see no point in steering away from them.
Im still doubting that they would beat Shadow Inceptives or Primo Pros in a test, but i could be wrong. I think Odyssey should redo their test with some of the new forks that are available (Shadow Inceptive, Primo Pro, Kink CST, Fiend Invest, Tree Okan, etc.)

41 thermal is pretty much the whole reason why Odyssey forks are the best... no other heat treating comes close. I agree with you, Odyssey should redo the Stampy test. I would probably be willing to buy all the other forks if I had the money. I'm that confident that Odyssey forks would still win. If anything else, essentially all other companies just copied Odyssey's earlier forks, so that counts for something.

I ride Ody r25 forks, but I ride my Fiend Embryo more, never had a problem and Ive put them through hell. Well confident that they will last no matter what I do . Upgraded to the Fiend Invest fork and like them even more. Only thing I like more about the R25 or Embryo is the slightly longer steerer tube, other then that Invest all the way.

I have the Subrosa Pandora forks and they hold up fantastic. But My Sunday Octaves (R32s) held up amazing too. Id be surprised if i broke either pair.
