Saving up for a computer , mostly for everyday use but I want to play games too , so hence why it's custom. I need an upgrade because my PC can barely run Itunes no joke.

I was just wondering if any tech guru's out there know if this is good , apparently it's decent and for 550$ it seem legit for a budget build , besides the fact the the OS is 100$ for Windows 7 (8 and 8.1 is garbage). I can watch videos on any site , mine computer on can view youtube because of Adobe and the graphic card? No clue but I can watch any BMX edit now , and play BF4 if I'm hurt or when canadian weather hits. I do NOT intend to be a huge gamer , definately not me as I work out occasionally and work a ton (30 hours this week plus a whole day of moving) but I just feel like saving up and buying myself something that will last for the next couple years. I can improve anything later , but hopefully this is fine.

I don't mean to thread jack, but....do any of you have advice on a reliable laptop or campanies that make good laptops? My parents always get toshiba and they suck. They keep breaking and our newest one can't even handle editing my clips in HD.

Unless you really need your laptop for traveling, being mobile, ect I would definately go with a desktop. To get the laptops compact as possible they have to compromise air space, so they tend to overheat easier, (heat is computers worst enemy). You also won't get as much performance as you would for the price b/c they are making the parts smaller. Desktop for best price to performance ratio, it will most likely last a lot longer too.

It's all decent shit. Dont expect BF4 on high graphics though. Still, it's a decent build. You should download Linux!! Run dual OS ofcourse so you can still play Windows games.

Linux is an OS (operating system) Like windows 7. It's free though.

The problem with Linux is compatibility.
As for the OS Brayden, you can get it for free and then get a better GPU and case
