Lol. Scooting is pretty easy, whether they want to admit it or not. The only scooter kid I could honestly say I have respect for is this random kid I saw at the skatepark last week. He no hand frontflipped a transfer from a 6 ft bowl to a bank. Did it like 30 times and then I convinced him to backflip it so he tried that like probably probably 20 times before he got it dialed, and it only took that long because he was rotating too fast. He also whip-flipped on a quarter about 15 times. That kid had mad skill, but every other scooter kid there was exactly the way this video was making fun of. Haha
^yeah, not all scooterererers are lame weenies. But imagine how much more impressive that -no handed front flip transfer- would be on a bike? A fuck of a lot more impressive.
Video proves a damn good point. One that most of us already know. That scooters have one of the fastest&easiest learning curves of all 'action sports'. They're tiny, light, and way easy to maneuver. Which is also why the majority of them are little kids. Not that scooters are for kids only..it's just funny when some older dudes take offense to criticism. What do they expect? It's a fucking scooter.

Okay.
I have no respect for park rats who just trick spam. I like big flowypark though and street.
It doesn't matter if he is better than shitty 10 year olds at the skatepark. On a bmx bike i bet he would be better than half the riders there!
Ok so scootering is easy thats alright by me lol

I started scootering after riding BMX, and I landed a bunch of 180's and a few 3's on the very first time riding one seriously. It took me a week or two to learn whips, and I learned really sketchy barspins in like a day. It also took me like a day to learn switch 180's and regular full cabs. Apart from that, I could probably learn 180 bars in about a week at my current skill level on a scoot.

My neighbor used to have a scooter. I borrowed it one day and learned hop whips, 180s, half cab, and mollie 180s. In 2 hours. It's a gentle learning curve.

You guys do need to realize that if you have a riding background, scooters are even easier.
Someone totally new to all of it will take longer.
