Any idea what this is worth? I never found the exact year on it but its what I think is 07-09 Specialized hard rock sport. I've had it on craigslist for different prices forever.

That's a 2003 or 2004, worth about $150 - $200 to the right person.

I've done more DH MTB riding then anyone I know, I've been racing for years and although the Giant was pretty beefy, it couldn't hold up to what I normally do on a DH bike.

I understand, dh bike shave 200mm supsension front right? ANd they are beefe as hell, i saw that the commencal world cup or something like that was 15kg.

Ya we have the Red Bull Cup right here in Utah, we're supposed to be the number 1 state for DH racing.

Solid trade, now go get a PSlope from specialized or a Demo. haha 
But seriously the P Slope is AWESOME. It's a dirt jumper with a rear shock and something like 80-100 MM travel. Great for the ridiculous slopestyle stuff that dudes like berecloth crank out.
I am sick and tired of the "cliques" that this sport has recently developed. We should embrace the fact that we all ride a little kids bike, and not worry about the small details. When you take riding in its most basic form, we are all the same.

I love Specialized (their bikes, not the company), I had a Big Hit and a Demo already. My fav bike I've had is probably my old Rocky Mountain Switch I had like 4 years ago. It came wit Marzocchi Bomber forks that were pretty good but I needed to put a heavier spring in them since they were too plush for the tracks I was riding. I think my next bike will be another freeride, they have the benefits of being able to do pretty big drops on the DH courses but you can still pedal them around singletracks.

No, I have many friends who ride professional FMX and all but I never liked it. I'll watch it when it's on TV and go to FMX events to watch but i'll never try it.
