I just got a new laptop for Christmas. It's a Toshiba Satelite Radius. I like it a lot so far! But I have almost no experience with the newer Windows programs so I was wondering if any of you could help me.
I am not really a computer guy anymore. I used to be into that kinda stuff but now I ride BMX.
So is anyone on here familiar with Windows 8? What are some tips and/or tricks?

Just mess around with it, thats pretty much how i fgured it out. There really isnt anything that special about it (im not a computer guy either so i dont know know everything about it) but it doesnt have Paint which sucks a bag of bum anal beads

Do you have windows 8 or 8.1? 8.1 is good and still has the normal start thing.

I think it's just 8 but I don't know, man. When I googled it, this site didn't really tell me but it said something about Windows 8 being on it so I am guessing it's that.
I had a Windows phone for a little while and the only thing I really remember was the Store being awful and I was right. Hahaha

If I sync pictures or videos from my iPhone onto this PC, will they go into the camera roll on the PC or some other folder?

Camera roll is the pictures you take with your webcam. pretty sure you set where the pictures upload to. I love 8.1 now that i know how to use it. DONT BE AFRAID OF CHANGE

They'll go to your pictures folder in windows Explorer, the icon looks like this
And the pictures file is under 'libraries', but when you connect your phone you have to select that icon and it will say 'import pictures and videos', that is where they should end up

If you prefer Windows 7, like a lot of people do you can always make Windows 8/8.1 look and run like Win 7, just google it dude.
If you still hate it, delete system 32* and install Linux. just saying.
