I’ve been working from home for over a year now. Based on my work I am up LATE due to time zones. After my family goes to bed I workout (cold weather) or ride (nice weather) and then come inside to do work. I always have a Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime series on in the background. BTW...I hate zombies, it is just played out to death. Any suggestions for new series?:

Here are some of the series I have watched:

Game of Thrones
Narcos
Narcos Mexico
The Boys
Van Helsing
Peaky Blinders
The Witcher
Ozark
Big Mouth
Ash vs Evil
La Revolucion
The Tudors
The Borgias
Better Call Saul
Hunters
Big Mouth
Paradise PD
Handmaids Tale
The Kingdom
Barbarians
Knightfall
Solar Opposites
Marco Polo
Cursed
Black Sails
Spartacus
Breaking Bad

Based off that list, try The Blacklist. Very very good show.

Thx man, will check it out. I’m actually scrolling thru Netflix now and seeing all of the series that I watched but just forgot about in my list...and now I feel sad that I have watched all this shit.

Did you catch the Jack Ryan series on Amazon? 2 seasons up so far. It’s got Jim from the office and Bunk from the wire (and season 2 has Doug from House of Cards). Also house of cards is worth a watch at least the first couple of seasons.

Guys, thanks for the ideas! Just to clarify, I only seem to stream shows late at no get while I’m working. I say this because I almost exclusively look for TV-MA shows because my daughter is in bed and I actually can watch things that aren’t PG or PG-13.

One of my favorite series was Spartacus...even though the the acting was terrible. But, it was like a cross between the most horrific slasher movie and porn....and actually the plot of the first two seasons was decent. Black Sails and Marco Polo are similar in this rite. Really likes Hannibal as well.

I actually just got into Slasher on Netflix. It’s kind of like American Horror story but Canadian (didn’t realize it at first, but found myself thinking: “ why does this woman sound like a hockey player?”). But unlike American horror story it’s all slasher based, so no ghosts, zombies, etc.

Started watching the Night Manager on Prime. Limited series it seems (like 6 one hr episodes) but enjoying it so far, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for something to scope out.

LOVE it’s always sunny. My wife’s family is from South Philly and I live about an hour from the city so it’s fun to watch.

Trailer Park Boys: haven’t even looked into it. TBH I was pretty disgusted with the whole Blue Collar Comedy tour (Larry the Cable guy, Jeff Foxworthy, other assholes) as an answer to the Original Kings of Comedy tour in the early 2000s (for younger riders: don’t watch either, they both sucked). For some reason I had always associated Trailer Park boys with that. But worth watching? I’ll check it out.

What’s that? Is that streaming or an Adult Swim thing? The only thing I watch on Adult Swim has been American Dad with my wife (she loves it because I remind her of Stan and she is a dead-on Francine).

So I watched Trailer Park Boys last night...actually really like it, but reminded me that I forgot several series from my initial list. I’m surprised I forgot the first two because they were my favorite

East Bound and Down
Workaholics
Hannibal

Bloodline if you like slow burn
If you watch shameless, make sure it's the UK version, same with the office. They're a million times better (no exaggeration)
Fargo was pretty good too, kinda similar to Ozark but less serious

I dunno, have you seen both? Our sense of humour varies, but the UK versions (original) are a lot funnier, with real humour, not just slapstick

I’m negotiating an acquisition of an entity to expand my business now (have been for the past several months). Considering this expansion requires establishing a pretty extensive supply chain, I’ve been working a lot later than usual...which means more time to watch shows while I work! Caught up on:

Trailer Park Boys
Castlevania
Rewatched the Witcher
Looked for Shameless UK, but couldn’t find it

Watching Lucifer now...if someone were to have told me this was a love story with strong biblical overtones and no real swearing, nudity, or graphic violence, I would have avoided. But it’s actually pretty decent, in season 5 now.

Good one. I’ve seen all episodes but rewatch pretty frequently. I think season 5 is coming out this month, right?

My wife and I have been watching "The Good Place" lately. It is not super fast paced, but it is hilarious.

Basically, 4 people die, and find themselves in the afterlife. There is a good place where everything you would ever want is available, and a bad place where you get tortured.

Seconding The Good Place, it's solid. I also really enjoyed Kim's Convenience, which just came to an end. And like everyone from that show made it big now.

I actually started The Chilling New Adventures of Sabrina last night. Only one episode in. Pretty dark and compelling though. I like how they don’t shy away from the scary stuff and violence. It’s also pretty cool that the whole series has a very New Englandy Halloween vibe...like cold and ominous.

So, not streaming but I caught the new Rick and Morty season 5 premiere last night. I thought it was pretty good. Season 4 left a lot to be desired IMO, but at least the first episode of season 5 was legit.

So, not a streaming show, but starting my vaca off with watching 13 Assassins on Hulu. Probably watched it 50 times and it doesn’t get old for me. If you haven’t watched I highly recommend. Samurai movie with subtitles. Starts with Harikari, and from there it just more awesome.
