I know man it sucks, almost didnt get another bike after my last one was stolen, glad i did though. it's what happens when you live around a bunch of tweekers that just steal it and sell them for like 50 to get more drugs of whatever

That's what happened with my Hawk. Crazy thing is that a few weeks later on the other side of the city, my brother saw some thug on it and called the cops. I was super lucky. It hadn't been parted out at all, and my serial number hadn't been scratched off.

It was the frame that i learned to ride trails on so i cased and landed on flat on numerous jumps it had a good life though still one of my favorite frames

I started off with one of these. It wasn't this nice though. I got a used frame and fork at a yard sale and built it with parts off a Huffy.

My dad got me one of these at a police auction. I rode this frame on and off until I broke it in 1993 or so.
Got one of these exactly like this for my 12th birthday. It was my first brand new bike.
This was the first bike I hated. God that shit sucked. I worked all summer to buy the frame and fork, and my parents couldn't figure out why I rode it for a week, threw it it my closet, and put that old ass chrome sport back together.

There were quite a few frames in the meantime. I had a 1993 Holmes with those horrible group one graphics, a Mongoose Hooligan and I think a newer Haro Sport before I got this, which I still have (actual pic if my bike)

I have took a bunch of years off and started riding again about a year and a half ago on a Holmes 22:
I dabbled with an Indust 22, and a 20 inch ATF, now I have a Barcode.
