I was wondering if these trails are still there. I have never ridden them before and have only heard about them. I used to ride Monroe trails back in the day, but I now live closer to Marysville, and its been a while since Ive ridden and not really ready to hit Monroe. Any info on this is greatly appreciated!

Haven't been in a while. If you are expecting jumps like Monroe, don't get your hopes up. Mostly just a place the kids get drunk and light shit on fire. Might be one or two decent jumps but I haven't heard good things about spooks in a while.

Thats a bummer. I need to just check it out for myself and see if it would be worth puttin a little work into

Definitely has potential for anyone with a couple shovels and some time to kill. I'll be out there this summer. If you can make it to north Seattle, the green lake jumps are pretty dialed. Been taken good care of.

That's good to hear that it might only take a little work to get up a going. I definitely wasn't expecting anything like Monroe, I would like to start a bit smaller since it has been about 8 years since i hit Monroe last. It would be nice to find someone to ride with though so im not stuck digging by myself haha

Ya I feel it. I've seen videos of Monroe and it'd take a bit for me to be hittin those. I never really had a chance to ride trails, but I definitely want to get into them. I'll see you out there this spring.

I pretty much grew up riding trails. Definitely my favorite thing to ride. I love building new stuff too. Good sense of accomplishment. Greenlake looks pretty sweet too. Redmond just opened up a bike park. I checked it out on the way home from work the other day. Its pretty sweet. It would be a good place to learn how to ride trails. Literally everything is a table top.

Now is the time to start digging. Since it's winter and you can't really ride anyways...

start stacking dirt now so you have something to ride come spring....

The dirt where I live gets frozen, making it hard to dig.
Also, you need water to shape the jumps proper, but that would be frozen too, lol

It snowed yesterday, but no we don't get much snow at all. At least in western Washington. Head east over the mountains and you got your self that cold dry snow. And lots of it.
