I've been filming/photographing for about six years now. I've used Canon's , Nikon, GoPro all kinds. Now I don't have any cameras and I'm looking around for a nice video camera and a dslr. I'd like a VX because I've never shot with one and the footage looks nice. Any recommendations and/or anyone selling cameras?

i mean the vx line is pretty simple.. The vx 2100 is overall the best camera that you get from the line(and newest) and if you want it a bit cheaper then get a vx1000.. or the middle ground is vx2000.

Oh and for a reference point the deadline dvd was mostly filmed with a vx1000 and I THINK navaz films with a 2100. So you can see the quality difference and what not.

i have a dvx100b with the opteka titanium fisheye. i think thats the one. and its awesome! vx's arent that reliable and stuff. so i got the panasonic and havent had a problem. plus they are alot cheaper that a vx21

as for a dslr. i also have a nikon d800, which i love. but for filming i reccomed either the 5dmk3 or 7d juyst becasue canon is better for filming.
