Last one was too far away.
Edit: I can see you photoshopped your logos onto the ramps. If you use photoshop change the blend mode to multiply so it fades in better

Unfortunately with that last shot is it's at rays indoor MTB park and there was too many people riding the box jumps to block a whole line for a shot so i had to shoot it from a distance.

I'll give the watermark thing a go

no telephoto lens?

And ditto what feeble said about the logo. just play with effects till it fades into the ramp or do a legit watermark lol

on the first one no ass shots. Im not trying to stare at a guys ass. And it takes away from the trick.
And the reflection or whatever in the 4th one draws your eye away from the photo.
ANd all the lighting is almost identical. Play with your flashes a bit.. it's just a bit too repetitive

Im still learning also so take all of this with a grain of salt.

I shot the Tbog with my 24-70mm my other lens thats longer has a higher f/ and doesnt work well in the low light.

i've been playing a bit more with the lighting recently(Tonight) and its getting more on point i think.

I hate when you can see the flash like in photo 4, i've been working on that more and it's been helpful to bring my tripod for such things.

Your lighting is pretty good(the ramp and rider both exposed properly) but almost all of the pictures use the exact same type. Either to the right or left and below. aimed at the coping .
The flash can be fixed simply by cropping or playing with the clone stamp tool a bit.
Do you mind if i mess with these in photoshop?

see im a bit of a purist and i don't like cropping much. i like to take it as it's shot. im gonna post some photos fromt onight in a minute.

Everything i have said so far has been all just my personal feelings towards these.
To get more technical though your composition is off also. Every single one of these pictures is completely centered.
also 4 out of 5 are in portrait orientation. i dont want this to come off rude.(criticism always sounds rude to me) but it seems you find one way that works for you and then you just keep doing it.

Again. take it with a grain of salt because i realize i am not some great photographer that just knows everything. lol

Ok here's two more photos i shot played a bit more with lighting i also tried out the multiply in blend mode on these.
Flash photography is fun i prefer natural light but indoor parks suck for natural light.

The last one is not "too far away" lmao. Generally they're not too bad, lighting wise I can see you're doing what you can with 1 flash but consider getting another or 2 along with some flash stands so you have more control over the light. The biggest thing you need to improve on is your composition, try to steer away from just centering the rider all the time, work with the rule of thirds. For those particular photos a tighter crop would work because you have a lot of unnecessary headroom where if you got rid of the headroom the rider would appear to be at the very top of the photo's frame which gives the impression of height. Also get rid of other unnecessary shit in the frame like that topless dude on the side. Aim to make a clean composition with just the rider and what the rider is riding.

I wish i would have been closer for that shot but i though it wasnt too bad at that distance.

I've got 2 flashes in all the shots other then the Tbog shot which has no flashes, ill play with headroom and my composition on shots.

Pretty good, you might another flash for the suicide and whip it on the spine(?) because dark clothes/bikes easily blend in the the dark(whether it be indoors or at night) and thats a bit distracting, or you wouldn't need another flash if those things are taken care of by the riders i.e: wear good colored clothes when phototaking/filming and whatnot

Really like these photos! The lighting is really good. However, try to work more on composition and stay away from ass shots. haha Some of these photos would look a lot better if you composed them differently. Always be creative and different, but it doesn't hurt to stick with the rule of thirds. Besides that, great job man!

try and get another flash to fill in the back drops of the rider so you dont get that harsh shadow.
